Inspired by years of experience running local TEDx events – we host forum events and talks featuring local businesses, community leaders, and individuals; giving them the chance to share and inspire their local community with their environmental and sustainability ideas, projects and stories.

Folkestone & Hythe Sustainable Futures Forum

On Sat 29th April 2023 – the Folkestone & Hythe Sustainable Futures Forum bought together businesses, community groups and individuals to deliver inspiring talks and ideas from local professionals, and provide a space to encourage conversation and new partnerships. 

Hosted at The Burlington Hotel, the event consisted of 3 sessions, each comprising of TEDx style talks followed by a range of breakout activities including speaker Q+As, guided discussions, networking, workshops, and opportunities to find new partnership, support and collaboration opportunities.  

The Sustainable Futures Forum provides a framework, promotion and production to help you engage YOUR community with environmental issues and opportunities, by showcasing the inspiring people and ideas of your community.

The Sustainable Futures Forum has been developed based on founder Liu Batchelor’s 5 years experience running community TEDx events, and includes speaker coaching to help everyone deliver their best possible talk, and deliver the inspiring video content to spread the inspiration even future beyond the forum.
